Vegetarian Outnumbered

Are you a vegetarian in a meat eating household? I am and it remains a challenge to fix for everyone and myself without fixing numerous different things. I have a few suggestions to cut your time down in the kitchen and make everyone happy! Yes, it is possible to please everyone without cooking everything but the kitchen sink!

Idea #1:

Spaghetti ah la Chili

For the Meat-eaters: Your regular spaghetti noodles with meaty spaghetti sauce.

VEGETARIAN: You can always have meatless sauce with the noodles {boring}

Instead, try some vegetarian chili over the spaghetti noodles – delicious!

Idea #2:

Cheesy Hamburger

Brown hamburger meat (for the meat-eaters, of course)
Macaroni & Cheese (cook per box directions)
Can of diced Tomatoes

Vegetarian Style

Meat-eaters: Mix 1/3 part hamburger meat with 2/3 parts macaroni and cheese. For the adults you may want to add a couple spoons of can tomatoes.

VEGETARIAN: Mix macaroni and cheese with a couple spoons of diced tomatoes. This is really good!

You can also do this with Hamburger Helper, just keep the noodles and browned hamburger meat seperate.

As a mom I know it is hard to please everyone but with a little imagination it is possible.

Good luck my fellow vegetarians!
