TO TAKE FORGRANTED
Have you ever listened to your heart beat? Can you feel your heart as it beats in your chest? Thump, thump, thump is what we expect to hear. Strange, we may not feel it . . . We may not hear it . . .but, we know it is there, after all we are breathing.
Recently, I have had an unusual occurrence, my heart has been saying, “hey, I am in here”! Talk about strange. Sometimes it even thumps so loud I can feel the vibration in my head. I felt pretty confident this blood pumping organ was housing itself inside my chest cavity, it decided to no longer beat un-noticed.
The doctors are doing test to find out what has changed to make me so aware of the thump, thump and rule out any life-threatening conditions. I think I have the answer.
Don’t all of us take things for granted in life? Have you ever taken your heart beat for granted? That’s it, my heart is pounding to tell me, “I’m in here”. Okay, my heart, I hear you already. I am very appreciative of you. Bless you [bless my heart]!
Let’s not take things forgranted. Heed to the warnings. We may not realize things are present in our lives, until they show themselves or worse, they are gone.
