Okay our dog, Rose is quite the unique dog. First off, most of the time she does not realize she is a dog and sometimes we forget she is too!
In her Christmas stocking she received several toys. She surveyed all the toys and picked out one in particular she favored. I am really unsure, but it appeared to be a small brown stuffed moose. This “moose” of course would squeak if squeezed hard enough.
Rose carried her “baby” (moose) as we called it around with her, from room to room, as any mother would carry their baby. Sometimes she would squeeze it just enough to hear is squeak. We would sometime make it squeak just to see her run to get it!
After carrying her “baby” around for nearly six weeks, out of the blue, she begin to rip it from the bottom end! We told her “no” and took it from her! She found it and once again begin to tear the stuffing out of it.
After working diligently over a day or two to remove the stuffing from her “baby”, she succeeded. In that, she removed the squeaker!
Now, here’s the funny part…..She left the flat, de-stuffed body of her “baby” lying and begin to carry the squeaker around with her! She knows where the squeaker is at all times and carefully carries it in her mouth with TLC!
I hope she doesn’t decide to try and rip my squeaker out in the same fashion!
Here are a few pix to share….
