Love the tune of this VEGAN song!
VEGAN debunked by Jonathan Mann & Ivory.
It’s 3 a.m., my cell phone rings, as I rub my eyes to see more clearly, it says “restricted”, should I answer? Okay, I should answer, “Hello”?
Instantly when the phone rings in the middle of the night my heart practically beats out of my chest. It always scares me. I always fear someone in the family is having an emergency. I am home alone, could it be Todd or Hampton? I answer.
“Becky, its me Kim.”
“Kim, Kim who?”
“I know it has been a long time but, it is me your BFF from years ago, Kim Rowland.”
As I am trying to shake the sleepy away, I say, “Kim how are you?”
“I am not too good. Something has happened. I wondered if I could ask you for a favor?”
What an action shot! Rose is on the chase!
There was snow on the ground, the temperature was near zero with the wind chill in the negatives. It was an unfamiliar city, a cold sterile building and a little office inside a larger office on the fourth floor.
The diagnosis had been made Neurofibromasarcoma, no known cure, a beast of a cancer. Dr. Mia McCollin, a petite dark haired brown-eyed professional woman, a specialist in the field, spoke to us as a family, she concurred with the diagnosis in Georgia. Dr. McCollin explained the effect the chemo would have on his body and how his body would hopefully respond.
We had a beautiful 4-year-old son and Dr. McCollin explained that after chemo a sibling for Hampton would be out of the question. No problem, we were blessed, we just wanted to get the treatments underway.
